Rates

Rates depend on the type of survey, the size and complexity of the boat and its location. The minimum charge for a survey of boats up to 30' in length is $800. We survey boats up to 150' in length.

Travel expenses are charged outside the 5-mile radius of Englewood, Florida. Surveys may include expenses incurred by surveyor that are directly associated with performing the survey. All rates will be quoted upon request.

When contacting us, please plan on providing us with the following information:

• Type of survey
• Requested date of survey
• Manufacturer of the boat
• Model Year
• Location of the boat
• Whether the boat is hauled or in the water
• Whether a sea trial is requested

Surveys include diagnostics with state of the art infrared heat gun, digital rpm tachometer, load testing equipment, digital volt meters, three-wire outlet analyzer, moisture meter, etc.

Surveyor can carry out general diagnostic engine inspections if needed at an additional rate per engine. Engine diagnostics are for general information only and are not meant to replace a survey by a qualified or certified marine mechanic.
